When I think of the softness of my legs in the green grass,

I remember the warmth of my body wrapped in your arms.

I remember how green your eyes are filled with envy,

At the sight of other onlookers who appear to be lowery.

But then I bat my lashes and my gaze meets yours,

It's a not-so subtle reminder that the future is ours.

Almost like the clock chiming to remind me of reality.

Except this time, reality is forgotten at the mention of our adorability.

To the love that keeps me up at night, 

To the love that takes away all my fright, 

To the love that gives me wings and enables my flight.

To the love that welcomes all of my heart, 

To the love that I really hope shall last.
