Beloved fatherland
haikus or haiku) :
A Japanese poem in three lines, the first and last consisting of five morae, and the second consisting of seven morae, usually with an emphasis on the season or a naturalistic theme.
I wanted to step out of the box with a different theme.
This particular one was inspired by my country Nigeria. It was particularly fun to come up with the perfect syllables and still tell a story about what I love about Nigeria.

My color's bright gleam
... The masses loud, proud voices...
Amusing banters.
Cultural beauty
Elegant diversity
Unending beliefs.
Hassle and bustle
Dusting off defeats, “ We move”
Just one goal, don't stop.
Past heroes, we praise
All who spoke for us, we stan
Relentless courage
For tribes, we lost count
Five-two-zero languages
Together, we stand!
